Joseph Breitner
Joseph has a B.Sc. with honors in Mechanical Engineering and an M.Sc. in Material Engineering, both from Technion–Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel.
In 2012, he received GE’s Technology Award – Customer Value for the development of LEAPmbr.
Joseph Breitner specializes in leading product developments; taking concepts through prototyping, to design and full production/manufacturing. Drives “design for manufacturing” with “can do” attitude. Joseph is open minded, creative and a problem solver. He has over 25 years of product development experience at cutting edge technology companies. He has a few granted patents and a few at the application stage.

He has experience in developing products for different fields:
Joseph was part of a team that developed Netafim’s (Israel’s largest irrigation company) first micro-sprinkler product line: Flow-compensated sprinklers, foggers, valves and frost protection.
When Joseph moved to Canada in 2002 from Israel he started working for Zenon Environmental Inc. which later became part of GE Water & Process Technologies. During that period Joseph held positions from Mechanical Engineer to Engineering Director; leading an international team of technical people in developing water filtration products. He was heavily involved in all major products development: ZW500, ZW1000 and ZW1500.
